G20 Meeting Calls for Bailout Package from Mexico

G20 Meeting Calls for Bailout Package from MexicoMexico, February 28. – Europe is currently in crisis and the G20 wants to find a solution, but it only postpones any decision on a possible bailout package until June, the issue emerged on Tuesday in the meeting of officials of the world's largest economies.

Despite the global economy, especially in the euro area, shows a certain degree of stabilization, the risk of relapse is still present and the worst scenario is about to come.

Finance ministers and central bankers of countries, totaling more than 80 percent of the global GDP, agreed that the slight economic recovery was sustained by policies of the European Central Bank adopted in December.

According to Agustin Carstens, manager of the Bank of Mexico, insecurity is still implicit, but denied that the crisis is, as some experts believe, the size of a mammoth.

Such restrained optimism resulted from the high-level meeting of the G-20 member countries and several guests under the Mexican presidency, held in this capital on Saturday and Sunday.(Prensa Latina)
