Pastors for Peace Caravan Crosses U.S. Border into Mexico

Mexico City, Jul 20. -The 22nd Pastors for Peace Caravan will cross the U.S. border into Mexico on Wednesday, carrying humanitarian aid and challenging the U.S. blockade against Cuba.More than 100 people from the United States and Canada will cross the Pharr-Reynosa International Bridge with over 100 tons of aid.

The aid for Cuba carried by the U.S. Cuba Friendship Caravan includes medicine, computer equipment, school supplies, portable solar panels and 14 vehicles.

The caravan will later travel from the city of Reynosa to Tampico, where they will board ships to Cuba, in a trip that supports the struggle against the U.S. blockade.

This year's caravan traveled to 130 U.S. and Canadian cities, and on each stop, activists held meetings to spread the truth about the intensification of the blockade against Cuba.

During their stay on the island, caravan members will learn about the lives and achievements of Cuban young people, and visit communities, health centers and school (Prensa Latina)
