Judicial Process against IMF’s Former Director to Continue

Washington, Jul 7. -The judicial process against Frenchman Dominique Strauss-Kahn, former president of the International Monetary Fund, on charges of sexual assault and attempted rape will continue, the Prosecutor''s Office said.

After a meeting with the defense lawyers, prosecutors said the investigation will continue, despite the opinion of experts against the possibilities of reaching a verdict against Strauss-Kahn.

A spokesman from the office of District Attorney Cyrus Vance said the case had several possibilities, despite the contradictions in the statements given by an employee who presented the accusation against Strauss-Kahn.

"There are very limited possibilities for a jury to give a unanimous verdict," experts said. (Prensa Latina)
