Iker Casillas: Spanish King´s Cup Vital to Real Madrid

Madrid, Apr. 20. -Winning the Spanish King´s Cup is essential for the team, goalkeeper Iker Casillas said on Tuesday on the Real Madrid´s official website.

This trophy is very important for Real Madrid, which cannot allow itself the luxury of being 17 years without winning it, Casillas said, adding that it was vital to the team to win.

Real Madrid will play against Barcelona in the Cup final today in Valencia, with the objective of improving on its Saturday performance, when both teams tied 1-1 at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

"We know it will be difficult and it will be an exciting match between the best two teams of Spain," he said. "Anything could happen, but we hope we will win."
