Evo Morales Confirmed Attendance to the World Social Forum La Paz, Feb 3. – Bolivian President Evo Morales, will attend the World Social Forum (WSF), which will take place from February 6 to 11 in Dakar, Senegal''s capital, confirmed today the Government spokesman, Ivan Canelas.

The head of State will leave on Saturday for the meeting, where he will intervene in a debate about the crisis of the capitalist system and will defend his positions on global warming, the spokesman said at a press conference.

Morales will incorporate in the debate the climate issue and its effects on food security, he said.

Participants in this year's WSF will also analyze the results of the Davos forum, where Europe and the United States showed their differences on how to revive the global economy. Canelas announced that the Bolivian president will also march through the streets of Dakar together with representatives of social movements from around the world .

Morales is convinced that only peopleâ�Ös diplomacy will solve the problem of global warming.

Bolivia will continue to lead the debate on the rights of Mother Earth with the peoples of the world, and he reaffirmed the rejection to the agreement resulting from the climate change conference in the Mexican resort of Cancun.(Prensa Latina)
