Chilean Pizarro to Continue Playing for A.S Roma

Rome,Dec 30. -A spokesman of A.S Roma soccer club stated that Chilean David Pizarro, wanted by Genoa FC, is not "transferrable". That club recently passed Brazilian striker Julio Baptista to Malaga club.

Pizarro has been in the bench due to the outstanding performance of Brazilian Fabio Simplicio and that is the reason why Genoa clubâ�Ös president Enrico Preziosi, who has been watching Pizarro, wanted him.

The Roman club discarded Ranieri will use Pizarro in the second stage of Calcio (Italian soccer league).

Italian press published on Monday that Genoa club was close to sign with Pizarro, former player of Udinese and Inter Milan teams.

However A.S Roma informed that Pizarro will remain in that club, where he arrived in 2006-2007 season. (Prensa Latina)
