Enciclopedia presented in Santa Cruz del Sur

Santa Cruz del Sur, Dec 16. –With the presence of Juan Ricardo Poll, and Omar Pimentel, First Secretary of the Communist Prty in Southern Camaguey, and Vicepreseidnt of the Administration Council of the Local Government, it was carried out last Tuesday, the oficial launch of the Cuban Collaborative Enciclopedia, ECURED, at the aimed to offer information with academic and didactic contents.

In a brief act, Dunia Espino Delgado, Local Director of the Youth Club of Computing gave an outlook on the main objects of that new digial page, and explained to the asistants how to use this new informative instrument.

According to Espino Delgado, ECURED is made up of 19 thousand and 200 articles, detached mainly in data on the provinces and municipalities of the country, besides, it counts on the access to other parts of the world by means of the internet.

The presentation of the Cuban Collaborative Enciclopedia in Southern Camaguey opens a new posibility for the population of that region, mainly for the sutudents and teachers looking for information and knowledge.
