Housing is a prioritized sector in Santa Cruz del Sur

Santa Cruz del Sur, 15 Nov. – A sostained work keeps the Construcción Ministry in Santa Cruz del Sur among the various groups making up this group here, after the pass of  Paloma Hurricane in 2008.

In this sense, around the 50 per cent of the housing amelioration shows the result of the attention and concern by the Cuban State to this part of the southernmost region of Camaguey.

Despite not all the population-building needs have been met, the sector has many projects for the upcoming stage among we can find: to continue to build the houses that were totally swept by the hurricane, and to finish the rehabilitation and conservation program in the territory.

Likewise, the Local Housing Direction must seek for alternatives for the transfer and pick up of building resources, coordinate the works between the Local Housing Investing Unit and the local organisms, and to exploit the productive posibilities for the materials constructions among others.
