Some 305 houses built in Santa Cruz del Sur
Santa Cruz del Sur, Oct 2. –Around 305 houses have been built so far in the current year, which represents a 93 per cent of the fulfilment of the plans benchmarked, not counting 53 buildings more, assigned to the municipality because other territories of the province could not assume their construction project.
The entities from this sector here in south camaguey work seriously in the difficulties solution, among them we have to highlight: transportations of the resources and limitations in the load capacity to tackle this situation.
Likewise we insist on the amelioration of the coordination between the Housing Investment Local Unit (UMIV), and the state organisms, in order to achieve a proper contracting and materialization of the houses.
The program of the Architect of the Community must be reinforced, so as to tackle the constructive and legal actions being developed, because we only count with one, recently graduated, which does not allow to meet the needs of the population with the widening of licences, said Fidel Sosa Pérez, Director of the Local Institute of the Housing in Santa Cruz del Sur.
