Food sowing boosted in Santa Cruz del Sur Santa Cruz Del Sur, May 14. – Despite the climate difficulties seen in this territory, the Agriculture workers in Santa Cruz del Sur have been able to boost the crop sowing in al the possible varieties in more than 3000 hectares.

This territory complies with the plan at a 96 per cent thanks to the tuber, vegetable and grain sowing, and the most significant contributions belong to the vegetable sowing, which lately are present in every urban agriculture outlet sale.

Tomato is one of the most abundant in this city, and up to the moment around 12 000 sacks of this vegetable have been harvested. And the figure is expected to rise.
